Sunflower husk is a product obtained upon hulling sunflower seeds. The product is widely used in agriculture (food feeds), as well as in the form of pressed granules (pellets) is widely used as a bio fuel. VVOP monthly produces nearly 1,000 tons of pellets made of sunflower husk and sells them both to private household power plants and to central power plants in EU countries.
